Dave tells of spending some time in Korea at Prayer Mountain, the church established by Paul Yonggi Cho. While he was there praying, something happened in his heart that changed him forever. He believes that some things will only come to us by persistent prayer. As he was praying, he felt God touched his heart strongly about Deut. 8:18--that God wants to give us power to create wealth, so He can establish His covenant. It is God's power that does this. There are three keys to overcoming in this present economic environment:
David Yarnes encourages people to head towards their breakthrough. He tells listeners that both opportunity and breakthrough are closer than we think if we have the courage to look! We should boldly decree our breakthrough.
William Booth is the founder of the Salvation Army, and David tells us that when he heard Booth’s open vision it touched him and changed his life completely. After the vision, the Salvation Army declared war on sin and corruption through compassionate love and care for people. Dave uses personal stories to show us how to have compassion for the lost, too.
Dave Yarnes teaches about a mercy coming for the next assignment. We are to be ready to respond to what we see God doing.
To be successful in the coming year, we must be walking in the power of God. Then we need to take the love and hope of God to the lost around us. Dave encourages us that the fulfillment of the promises of God to our lives is closer than we think. We can’t stagger at the promises because of unbelief. Dave also shares a moving story about the salvation of his father.
