Resurrection
On Easter Sunday, Rick teaches about the power of resurrection, with several examples from scripture. He spoke about the first three people that Jesus raised from the dead, and parelleled the levels of resurrection power to the amount of persecution that eventually led to Jesus' crucifiction. The service ended with the congregation taking communion.
Three Cord Faith
Rick shares that the message today is a NOW word for this church. We should not fret because of evildoers. Instead, we should cultivate our faith based on Psalm 37. We have to be firmly established in the faith and continue in the faith. If we focus on the evil of others, it will cause us to do evil. If we wait for the Lord, we will inherit the land.
Relationship: The currency of the Kingdom
William Booth is the founder of the Salvation Army, and David tells us that when he heard Booth’s open vision it touched him and changed his life completely. After the vision, the Salvation Army declared war on sin and corruption through compassionate love and care for people. Dave uses personal stories to show us how to have compassion for the lost, too.
