Richard Fessler says our purpose for success is to produce influence in the marketplace. Since we are made in the image of God, Who breathed into us, we have dominion as gods over the earth (Gen. 1:26). Gen. 1:28 says God blessed man, which means empowered or anointed to prosper. We can use our physical authority to bring a manifestation of God on earth. Richard also says there's a difference between the world system, which is satanic, and the world. We will answer to the Lord for what we've done with the authority we have in the world. He teaches that in the parable of the talents, Matthew 25:14-30, four things occurred: the Lord was angry; He took the talent from the man; God gave the talent to the one who could profit from it and promoted him; and God cast the unprofitable servant into outer darkness.
