Bishop Boone shares that we are to have "relationship equity" with the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost desires a close, personal relationship with us. We need to do as much listening to His voice as talking during prayer. When He is allowed to be Himself, it sets the atmosphere for miracles. He is working to make us the glorious, spotless, perfect church. The Holy Ghost is here to conform us to the image of the Son, and He puts in us the desire to be what He wants us to be. He can be our best friend, and through Him we have all resources available to us. He was sent here to make everything better for us at the highest level.
