The Importance of Disciplining Our Children

As parents, we should never discipline out of anger and our yes should mean yes and our no should mean no. It is important to have a time of reconciliation after disciplining our children, especially when using spankings. There is a measure of lawlessness that rises up in children that can be partially traced back to their parents not disciplining them. In the Old Testament, the priest Eli allowed his sons to bring a curse upon the people because he had not disciplined them.
